Our Journey Begins

Most of you will have come here from a link we sent you via Facebook or text message... and to you I say welcome! For those of you who found us, stumbled upon us, or heard of us through someone else... to you I say welcome, too! Thank you for being part of our journey. 

I set up this blog to give a space for our family and friends to follow our story. I want to keep all of you posted on what’s happening... but most importantly I want you to know that we need you to help us realize our dream of parenthood! We cannot do this without you. It takes a village to raise a child... but sometimes it takes a village to bring that child home. 

In order to bring our child home, we need to raise a total of $45,000. No, that's not a typo... that's the real number. Somewhere out there is a child who needs us and we need to bring that child home. I believe we can and will raise this money... and I believe we can do it soon!

We will raise this money bit by bit over the course of the next 6 months. We will set small goals to help us get there. We're setting small goals to start with. Our first goal is $1500 by February 15, 2019.
